Blessed are the meek

Blessed are the merciful

Blessed are the peacemakers

Blessed are the poor in spirit

Blessed are the pure in heart

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness

Blessed are those who mourn

It means that because of what Jesus did for us on the cross we must extend grace and kindness to others.

It means that in this life we will have pain but we have a hope beyond this world.

It means that nothing else but Jesus will ever be enough for us.

It means that those who see that they need God will have eternal life.

It means that those who surrender and are humble before God will get to live on the new earth with God reigning.

It means that when we put Jesus first in everything we will see him in all areas of life.

You are the light of the world

You are the salt of the earth

for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven

for they will be called the sons of God

for they will be comforted

for they will be satisfied

for they will inherit the earth

for they will receive mercy

for they will see God
